Connecticut 6 Coaches Vote In Pre-Season Poll

            FAIRFIELD, Conn. - With the first Connecticut 6 Classic just around the corner, the head coaches from each of the Division I participants voted in a pre-season poll predicting the order of finish if the six teams competed in conference play.

Fairfield University was chosen the top team in the ranking, receiving five of the six first-place votes and secured 35 points. Quinnipiac University picked up the other first-place vote and took second place in the poll with 24 points.

Sacred Heart finished third in the ranking with 22 points, followed by Central Connecticut with 19 points. Yale University (17 points) and the University of Hartford (9 points) rounded out the first Connecticut 6 pre-season coaches' poll.

The Connecticut 6 Classic takes place on November 13 at the Arena at Harbor Yard and includes Central Connecticut State University, Fairfield University, University of Hartford, Quinnipiac University, Sacred Heart University, and Yale University.

The Connecticut 6 Classic tripleheader begins at 5:30 pm with Sacred Heart playing Yale University. Fairfield battles Central Connecticut at 7:30 pm, followed by Quinnipiac and Hartford at 9:30 pm.
