CPTV Sports Provides Live Coverage Of 2011 Connecticut 6 Classic

                FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The 2011 Connecticut 6 Classic will be televised live by CPTV Sports, the all-new 24-hour, 7-days a week sports channel which launched earlier this month. The Classic will take place on November 11 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.  The network will also air the three games in reverse order on November 12.

                The tripleheader includes the University of Hartford playing Sacred Heart University at 3 pm, Fairfield University taking on Quinnipiac University at 5:30 pm, and Central Connecticut State University battling Yale University at 8 pm.

                CPTV Sports is a not-for-profit channel owned and managed by Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) that broadcasts coverage of sporting events and match-ups from more than 40 schools and organizations. CPTV Sports launched on Comcast and Cox cable systems, and will expand to additional cable and over-the-air carriage in early 2012.
