James Feldeine Receives Connecticut 6 Player Of The Week

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Quinnipiac University James Feldeine (New York, N.Y.) earned the Connecticut 6 Player of the Week after leading the Bobcats to victories over Brown University, Central Connecticut State University, and Bryant University.

The senior averaged 18.3 points per game and shot 60 percent from the floor in those wins, including a 24-point performance against Bryant in the team's final game of the week. He opened the week by hitting eight of 12 field goal attempts en route to a 19-point evening against Brown. He followed up with 12 points against Central Connecticut, including a pair of three-point baskets.

For the season, Feldeine is averaging 18.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He's shot 46.5 percent from the floor, 36.5 percent from long range and 77.9 percent.

 The Connecticut 6 includes six of the Division I men's basketball teams in the state, which includes Central Connecticut State University, Fairfield University, University of Hartford, Quinnipiac University, Sacred Heart University, and Yale University.
