James Feldeine Captures Second Connecticut 6 Player Of The Week Award
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- James Feldeine earned his second Connecticut 6 Player of the Week award after leading the Bobcats to a pair of wins. The guard averaged 24.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game during the week.
The guard started his week with 27 points against Sacred Heart, hitting 11 of 14 field goal attempts and both free throw attempts. He also netted three of four three-point attempts in the game. The Bobcats completed their sweep of Sacred Heart a few days later as Feldeine recorded 22 points, making 10 of 14 free throw attempts. He also secured eight rebounds in the game. He also played 73 of a possible 80 minutes in the two games.
For the season, Feldeine is averaging 18.1 points and 5.5 rebounds. He raised his career scoring total to 1,190 points which ranks fourth on Quinnipiac's Division I scoring list.
