Connecticut 6 Classic Tips Off Friday Night
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The announcement came in late May that six of Connecticut Division I men's basketball programs would meet on one night for season-opening tripleheader. And now, that night is finally here.
Central Connecticut, Fairfield, Hartford, Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart, and Yale will bring their show to the Arena at Harbor Yard on November 13 for a college tripleheader that will entice college basketball fans to make their way to Bridgeport. The event begins at 5:30 pm when Sacred Heart and Yale take the court for the first-ever Connecticut 6 game.
At 7:30 pm, Fairfield and Central Connecticut renew their series, meeting for the first time since the 1999-2000 campaign. Finally, Hartford and Quinnipiac will close out the inaugural Classic with a 9:30 match up.
Tickets are available for the Connecticut 6 Classic and can be purchased at the Arena at Harbor Yard box office or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. Prices are $12 for adults and $5 for students from participating schools and children between the ages of 2 and 12.
