Connecticut 6 Launches Official Web Site
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Connecticut Classic has joined the new media age with the launch of an official web site on November 4. The web site will include general information about the tournament, links to all six teams, as well as video and player features.
The Connecticut 6 Classic, which makes its debut on November 13 at the Arena at Harbor Yard, includes six of Connecticut's Division I men's basketball teams, namely Central Connecticut State University, Fairfield University, University of Hartford, Quinnipiac University, Sacred Heart University, and Yale University. The six teams will play in the Classic, beginning with a 5:30 pm tip for Sacred Heart and Yale. Fairfield will take on Central Connecticut at 7:30 pm with Hartford and Quinnipiac wrapping up the tripleheader at 9:30 pm.
The launch of the web site is just the first of several events during the upcoming week. On November 9, the Connecticut 6 pre-season coaches poll will be announced. One day later, the pre-season All-Connecticut 6 team will be unveiled.
